Finally,
we got 21 days of holiday and our dream become true - we're going to
Spain for climbing! Well, the initial plan was to reach Tarifa for
kitesurfing and El Chorro for climbing; this would be the best option.
However, a heavy rain for past 4 weeks at Tarifa changed our plans.
Even that we enjoyed 3 weeks of sunny and warm weather, superb climbing
and perfect feeling that remains in our hearts.
We started at Swiss's Laax for snowboarding. Just after this break we went to France - Ardeche for 1st climbing in 2010. Then we moved to south of France for kitesurfing, but wind and sea were so difficult to ride then we had just a hot stop there before heading our primary destination - Siruana in Spain. Just in the middle of the trip we went to north-east cost of the Spanish sea for kitesurfing. We found a great spot however wind was so gusty that we decided to go back to rocks. At La Riba we spent approx 3 days of superb climbing, then we went to Monstant for sight-seeing and then back to Siruana. There we found a new sector perfect for our skills and also bunch of Czech friends with whom we went later on to Margalef. As we're already tired, we did only easy stuff and heading home we left Margalef with an idea to stop again at Ardeche. Unfortunately, weather changed and in Ardeche there was raining. So, an easy decision come on mind - go home.
The trip was awesome in all details, fulfilled all our dreams and expectations, we met great people on the road, had no malfunction of car, no accident. We just enjoyed each other, our dog, beautiful surroundings and perfect rocks.Copyright (c) by Jestercichlup 2010. All rights reserved.
